We only source produce from a 150km radius from the store, as we believe in both supporting local producers and being kind to the environment.

The secret to our amazing coffee (apart from our amazing baristas) is our supplier, Mansfield Coffee Merchants. With their obsession for quality beans, and our knack for turning them into amazing drinks, The Weekend Local is the place to come for the perfect brew.

Fussy eaters rejoice! We have tasty meals that are made from local products, with gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options available.
Our Story
In 1985 my Strathbogie farmer husband and I met while I was living and working in Melbourne. Having grown up on a farm in the King Valley I was delighted to escape suburbia and reconnect with country Victoria and our rural community.
Our sheep farm is 30km from Euroa which is located 160km north east of Melbourne. We have lived and worked on and off our farm for over 30 years, producing fine wool and lamb. Our two adult children have flown the coop but regularly find their way back to the farm and replenish their stocks of lamb, home grown veggies and mum’s cooking.
Access to fresh, quality local and home grown produce has been an everyday part of our lives. The Weekend Local is an extension of this lifestyle. Every product in the store is grown/produced/hand made within less than 150km from Euroa by a select group of quality producers. Our aim is to seek out new, interesting, delicious and sustainably produced food, delivered with minimum food miles.
